Censal Research studies are built from public statistics published by US government agencies, including the Census Bureau, the Bureau of Labor Statistics and the Bureau of Economic Analysis.

• Estimates, not exact counts. Many official figures come from surveys and carry margins of error. We report and test that uncertainty, but every estimate can differ from the true value.
• Association, not cause. Unless a study says otherwise, our findings describe patterns in the data. They do not show that one thing causes another.
• Not professional advice. Our studies are research for general information. They are not financial, investment, legal, tax or business advice.
• Not endorsed by the source agencies. Our use of public data does not mean the Census Bureau or any other agency endorses our work. This product uses the Census Bureau Data API but is not endorsed or certified by the Census Bureau.
• Provided as is. We correct errors when we find them, but we make no warranty that a study is complete or error-free, and we are not liable for decisions made using it.
